Which Class Should I Take First?

Start with our PREP (Positive Reinforcement Experience and Practice) Class. This foundation course is a prerequisite for the majority of classes at TCCA. Complete this course before beginning any of your other TCCA courses. In PREP Class, you’ll discover how your role in the learning process will effect your dog’s ability to understand what you are asking. You’ll have a chance to practice Positive Reinforcement training skills before attempting to train your dog. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience training from your dog’s perspective. YOUR DOG WILL THANK YOU FOR TAKING THIS COURSE!!

TCCA is a positive reinforcement based training facility. Because this is the method of choice in every class, we want/need our students to understand the science behind these methods and why they are so effective. Even if you have taken classes at other facilities, you will really enjoy this two-hour class that is packed with fun activities and practice.
